SALES MANAGER (BATTERY SOLUTION FIELD SALES)

Green Recruitment Solutions are seeking to appoint a talented and professional Sales Manager, for this leading Solar PV and Battery Storage organisation. They must have determination, sector specific expertise, proactive approach and a keen eye for identifying, and successfully winning, new business opportunities (specifically within SME and Small businesses). Responsibilities: 

  • Follow up leads, client and account management leading to successful closure of the sales process
  • Create and maintain client relationships and engage with clients at ease
  • Listening to client requirements and present energy storage solutions accordingly
  • To create detailed proposal documents and delivery of proposal and costs
  • To liaise with design and engineering teams to deliver accurate solutions
  • Survey installation sites to ascertain suitability of systems
  • Ability to liaise with Senior Management both internally and externally
  • Assisting in the negotiation of the terms of an agreement
  • Gathering market and client information and provide timely feedback to senior management
  • Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions & events
  • Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Maintains accurate records of all clients and activity reports using CRM system  Salesforce]
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy.
Essential Requirements: 
  • Sales professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering new business within the Renewable Energy sector
  • Previous experience including roof top Solar PV/Wind solutions or energy storage sales is essential
  • Degree in sales/Marketing discipline or technical knowledge in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is desirable
  • Able to produce detailed proposals meeting client requirements
  • Excellent communicator and well presented. Excellent writing skills
  • Engaging with experience of client management, ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Self-driven, confident, focused, results oriented. Strong Commercial acumen
  • Ability to foster self-motivation to achieve tight deadlines
  • Excellent presentation skills and MS office skills.
  • Clean full driving license
  • Flexible – the role will require travelling to various parts of the country, staying overnight or longer, if required
